Depending on the desired effect-duration which can differ per project, we guarantee a 20-year water repelling effect with some of our penetrating water repellent products.
2What is the unique formula that you use for your water repellent products?
Good question, but one that can't be answered because it's our secret unique formula. However, let's take a look at MicroBlok for instance, it is clear that the silanes and siloxanes content is significantly lower when compared to so-called traditional water repellent products. Tests show that MicroBloks' unique and special composition makes it one of the high-end products.

1How do I apply the coating?
HARD SURFACES (EasyClean Glas): 1. Ensure that the surface is thoroughly cleaned and dry before application. 2. Manual: preferably using a microfibre cloth, rub in completely until it is no longer visible. 3. The coating is stable after 30 minutes and completely hardened after 24 hours. The so-called easy to clean effect can only be tested after this. 4. Finally, do not apply in full sunlight or on warmed surfaces (>50°). POROUS SURFACES (EasyClean Textiel, EasyClean Leer and EasyClean Hout). 1. Ensure that the surface is thoroughly cleaned and dry before application. 2. Spray manually at a distance of 10-15 cm until the surface is completely damp. 3. Then carefully rub EasyClean in with a clean soft brush. 4. Let the product soak in and repeat again within 1 hour. 5. Do not apply in full sunlight or on warmed surfaces (>50°). The coating is stable after 30 minutes and completely hardened after 24 hours. The so-called easy to clean effect can only be tested after this.
2How long is the guaranteed working-effect?
As the coatings are UV resistant, they have long term working effect (more than 10 years is possible). Condition: a. Do not scrub the surface with an abrasive product. b. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents (pH>12).
3What effect do chemicals and abrasive scrubbing have on the coating?
EasyClean Coatings are known for their resistance to abrasive scrubbing and chemicals. Chemical resistance: pH value 1-12.5. Abrasive resistance on glass: after 10,000 window wiper cycles, the performance drops by 10-20%.
4Which application areas are recommended?
All hard surfaces like glass, stainless steel, painted elements, automotive paints, etc.

1What is photocatalysis?
Photocatalysis is when a chemical reaction is accelerated due to contact with both a catalyst as well as light.
2What is the resistance strength of a Titanium dioxide coating?
The Titanium coating consists of a thin titanium dioxide film on the surface. The strength of the coating is approximately 200-350 nm or 0.2-0.35 Micron.
3Is there scientific proof supporting the effect of titanium dioxide?
The effect of titanium dioxide has since been proven by a range of studies. We are only too happy to supply additional information upon request.
4How does titanium dioxide (TiO2) work?
In addition to the white colour, titanium dioxide has other features if this is examined at Nano scale. Titanium dioxide in our coating formula works as a photocatalyst, which forms the basis for the self-cleaning, the antibacterial and the air purification effect.

The raw materials that are used in Easy Clean Coatings are registered in the REACH database.
2Why is the term 'Nano sealing' factually incorrect?
A seal is an airtight coating of the surface. SiO2 coatings are breathable.
3Are EasyClean Coatings hazardous or damaging to the environment?
No, the coatings are food safe (certificate upon request) and environmentally friendly. SiO2 is an inert substance that can be found in the natural world. It is a basic element of nature.
4Are there any health risks?
No. The coatings are even food safe in their hardened state. Because of the solvent based coatings (glass for instance), it is recommended to create an outlet pipe during spraying applications. So, it is not for DIY users.
